Terms of use
Last updated 24 October 2026.
Who can play
You must be 18 or over. One person, one account.
Your clubs
Every account gets one club for free. You can run up to 5 clubs in total. Extra clubs follow exactly the same rules and odds as free ones: paying never helps you win.
In-game money has no real value. It can't be bought, sold or swapped for real money.
Fair play
- Don't use more than one account.
- Don't "push": moving players, money or fans between clubs to help one of them, for example by selling players far above their value.
- No offensive club names, forum posts or messages. Be kind to other managers.
- Don't try to break, overload or automate the game.
We watch for unusual transfers. If you break these rules we may reset a name, hide posts, take back a club or suspend your account. Clubs that aren't visited for two full seasons are handed to the computer.
The service
GafferGo is provided as it is. We'll try to keep it running and fair, but matches may sometimes be delayed and features may change. You can delete your account at any time from Settings.
